Irrigation Customer Survey
In business, customer satisfaction is key, so an irrigation customer survey is the best method of determining if the end-users of your irrigation service are happy.
The simplest method of conducting a customer satisfaction survey is to simply as them to rate your work from one to five in the fields of Quality, Professionalism, Product knowledge, Workmanship and Cost.
But to really determine how happy customers are with your irrigation service, the survey should be far more detailed.
Ask your customers how happy they were with your submitted proposal – did they understand your design? Did they know exactly what they were getting for their money? Did they feel that you were receptive to their own suggestions for changes? When you showed them plans for the new irrigation system, was the customer able to envision what you planned to do from looking at the drawings?
Questions should also focus on your customer's experiences during the installation of their irrigation system. Did your workers behave in a professional manner? Did they appear to work efficiently while they were on the job? Was your customer satisfied with your workers' cleanup after the job was finished?
Take advantage of this opportunity for input and ask your customers questions about their irrigation needs and expectations during the survey. What are they hoping to gain from the installation of new irrigation – decreased water use? A more attractive lawn? Ease of use? Ask their opinions on drip irrigation, types of sprinkler heads, how much they would pay for gardening services, if they care deeply about organic vs. chemical fertilizers – whatever information may make it easier for you to provide good service to your future customers.
The more information you have, the better prepared you are to satisfy your customers in the future. A comprehensive irrigation customer survey is an easy way to learn how to build a better business.
